As someone who DSLR scans their film, I’ve become very frustrated with the film holders available to the film community. Solutions are mostly 3D printed and range from inexpensive with poor tolerances and limited compatibility to well made, but overpriced offerings from overhyped brands. I decided to take matters into my own hands to design the Lighthouse Film Carrier, a film carrier that exhibits the compatibility and quality of the more premium offerings, whilst still being 3D printed to maintain an affordable price point.
